Train Yourself To Radiate Positive Energy From Your Fear
Have you ever nurtured the idea of trying out bungee jumping, when deep inside you know that high altitude creeps you? Have you ever felt daunted by the high waves when you don’t know how to tame the untamed waves? The apprehensions we encounter in our daily life, the unknown darkness that engulfs our thoughts is nothing but our imaginary foe called fear.
Fear is something that can even scare a sumo wrestler! Everyone in this world has this foe in his or her life but those who are strong make it their armor to move ahead while the weak ones use it as an excuse.
You will encounter it everyday as if it were a part of your daily ritual. When ever you come across your fear don’t give up. This is where you can make difference. You have the option to either win or quit. Winners never quit and quitters never win. When you encounter your fear, have a plan ready beforehand so that you can use it as your stepping stone rather than getting intimidated by it.
I don’t have any qualms confessing that this particular foe had caused major turbulence in my life but now when I look back in the past, automatically a grin appears on my face saying “I am the architect of my future now and nothing is going to stop me!.†I told myself fear is part of the process; it’s just a cycle that the nature has created to make us strong.
Rather than getting bogged down by all this, start off maintaining a journal on a daily basis. Writing on a daily basis will surely be beneficial as it is considered to be a great healer. Pen down your innermost thoughts and fears; then close your eyes and imagine yourself facing a tough situation and what steps you would take to get out of it. You will notice that none other than you will answer your queries.
You can also make a collection of the success stories of your mentors and make a mental note of the points, which you would like to follow in your life. You can reread these stories when you face hardships in your life and make appropriate strategies to face it. Before saying I quit give it a try! When you are trying to achieve your goals it may seem you are running out of time or you might find yourself saying “yeah, but what if I fail….â€
The goals might seem unattainable but you can surely cut your goals into smaller steps and in case you think you are not fit for something don’t feel ashamed to ask for help. Once when you achieve your goals you will then find yourself saying, “I am glad I gave it a shot!â€
Sometimes when I sleep at night, I fall unconsciously on to the lap of many beautiful dreams but there are times when I face my fears as well. But does that mean I should stop dreaming? I am still dreaming on…because I dare to dream big!
