Are you often experiencing second thoughts about whatever missions you are undertaking? Do you feel that your inner fears and anxieties are inhibiting from going ahead with achieving whatever you want?

Then you may be sure that it is only the mental blocks that you experience and not the goal that is causing a problem to you.

Fear may not be entirely due to failure; in many cases, people hesitate to plod on in their paths for fear of success. Their addiction to success makes them fearful of the result.

You may have been afraid of getting defeated this time too because you had failed continuously in the past. This is what is stopping you from trying your best this time. The fear can also be attributed to your apprehensions about any injury or loss that you are likely to suffer.

If you are very obese and your doctor has advised you to shed a few kilos, then your first fear will be about having to sacrifice some of your favorite foods that add to your weight. Succeeding in slimming down may mean to you, forgoing your snacks and junk food and it may seem highly impossible in the beginning.

Another fear that rules many of our minds is that of money. You may feel insecure if you are not paid well or if your expenses go above your budget and don’t let you save any money.

These are the fears of failures. As far as fears regarding success are concerned, there are quite a few that you might be faced with. For example, if you have had a promotion with a hike in your pay packet, you are faced with fear of added responsibilities and about having to shell out more to the tax officer.

The moment you become aware of the responsibilities that tag along your new-found success, chances are that you will avoid taking steps to succeed in order to keep away from those responsibilities.

This is true even in the case of human relationships. We may have fears of being rejected by people on grounds of looks or status or some illness. In a relationship that is meant to work on a long-term basis, you will have to make compromises on your past enjoyments, limit get-togethers with your pals in order to spend more time with your family. There is an automatic feeling of responsibility that comes within you when you become a father. You will have to devote more quality time with your kids. This is probably the reason why some of us choose to remain bachelors!

Whatever the case maybe, whether you want to earn more money and also handle responsibilities or whether you want to have a successful family life, you need to work towards wiping out all your fears. Start enjoying what you do rather than treating it as a responsibility or a commitment. Once you do things sans fear and anxieties, you will be able to savor every moment of your work and give success a red carpet welcome.
